For the second day in a row, I woke up “late” — well after 7:00.  So much for my being a morning person.  Aunt Claire got up with me, gave me my bottle, and played with me before breakfast.

After I ate, the two of us went to the post office, but the line was so crazy that we left right away and went to Starbucks instead.  I think Aunt Claire likes Starbucks almost as much as Dad!  While she drank her vanilla latte, I fell asleep in my big stroller and took a nice long nap.  We stopped by Beadniks on the way home.

My new food for today was roasted red pepper with goat cheese, which sounds a bit fancy for me.  I didn’t like it that much.  A/C and I played downstairs until I took another little nap.  Then I played with my favorite Christmas present — my noise shakers!

After dinner, I danced to some Hindi music.  I stayed up waiting for A/C’s friend, Charlie, but he didn’t make it before bedtime…

I slept in much later than usual (8:30!), which was great because Dad had to finish up plans for his and Mom’s trip for New Year’s.  Aunt Claire was coming in this morning to hang out with me, so Dad and I went to the train station to pick her up.  By the time she got in the car, I had already fallen asleep, and I was resting until we made a quick stop at Whole Foods.  I started a new trick where I tried doing back-bends in the shopping cart.  Dad forgot to strap me in, but luckily A/C noticed.

When we were home for lunch, they tried to feed me my potato, squash and apple stew (which I’ve been eating forever!).  I refused to eat with a spoon and instead made a huge mess eating it with my hands.

I took a short nap and then said goodbye to Mom & Dad.  Not sure when they’re coming back, but at least I have Aunt Claire to play with!  We had a fun evening and just to make our first night easy, I fell asleep really easily for her.
