Grandma Droste and I took a break from yard work to meet Nana at Starbucks!

Well, unofficially, anyway.
When I got up in the morning and say Mom and Grandma home, I assumed I was getting to stay home from school today, even though it was a Tuesday. Wrong! I got dressed with Mom just like I would on any Tuesday morning and the three of us headed to school together. We dropped Mom off at work and then Grandma and I went to school together!
Grandma hung out with me for a while before heading off on her own exploratory mission. I had a great day at school and I especially enjoyed getting to play outside. I’m getting really good at climbing all over the playground equipment! I napped for almost 3 hours!

Well, at the very least we know:
– I had fun
– I got wet
– I get credit for helping Grandma with the garden!

Today Dad and Grandma seemed busier than usual, with Dad helping Grandpa Yagan get ready for his trip and Grandma Droste devising her plans for our yard. The two of them even took a really long trip to look for a special, magic kind of rock that they never ended up finding.
I got to spend a lot of time with Mom, which was great. Otherwise, not too much special happened today.
Today started off as a pretty normal Saturday, with a usual trip to the grocery store. Grandma Droste joined Dad and I and really loved the new Whole Foods!
The real craziness happened when we all went to Home Depot. We ended up driving home with a tree sticking out of our car (what happened to “safety first”?). Then Dad went back to Home Depot to Grandma and they came back with two more trees sticking out of our car. What’s going on?!
