9/13: Somersaulting?

on September 27, 2009

Somersaulting!

I woke up with Dad on Sunday and I could tell it was a late night for everyone!  But of course, I was ready to go.  I cooked an egg for breakfast (well, with some help from Dad).  Mom woke up and then Hurt and Marty did too.  The five of us went to the park and Hurt and Marty got a sense for what it’s like to hang out with a zillion parents and their kids running around the park!

After we played for a while and I took a nap, it was time for my nap.  When I got up it was time for brunch.  The first place we tried was too busy so we went back to the Old Oak Tap.  Three of the four of them ordered Chilaquiles, which just seems like breakfast nachos to me. Since Mom and Dad didn’t break any food for me, I actually got to eat some.  YUM!

Then Mom, Hurt, and I came back home while Dad and Marty went to run some errands.  Mom did a somersault and read somewhere that two-year-olds can do them.  So Dad got the idea that I should get a head start and start practicing!  I did one with a lot of help, but never got the hang of it myself.

Later on I got to help Dad cook dinner (fish — now a Sunday night tradition at our house!) and I loved it.

A year ago I was on my 7th Poop Watch!

Oh, Starbucks.
