I woke up on extra-early (5:35) Tuesday morning, but I was in a great mood. We got ready for school and I was really excited to take my backpack with me! I was the frist kid to arrive at school and gave Mom a quick kiss goodbye. At school, I was especially talkative today, especially making a point to say all my friends’ names! We had this crazy thing called “corndogs” for lunch. I don’t think Dad would be too happy!
As soon as I saw Mom coming to pick me up, I started saying “bye-bye” to everyone. I helped Miss Shayna pick up blocks and put them away. I put on my backpack and walked out to the car with Mom. Mom and I sang all the way home. I ate a great dinner (including 12 raspberries!), colored, took a bath, read two books, and was in bed by 7:30!
Wednesday was a great day with Nana. I woke up in a good mood and of course was wearing my backpack when Nana got here. I ate a big breakfast and then we headed out to the park. We were the only people there for about an hour (the other kids are sleepy-heads!?). It was nice to have the other kids around. After playing with them a bit, Nana and I went to see the dogs before heading home. The rest of the day went really well, including a nice long nap, another trip outside, and an unscheduled bath.
I woke up on Thursday very talkative. I have Mom a big hug goodbye when she dropped me off. My teachers again commented on how much I talk — I think they’re trying to send me a message! My teachers also asked my parents if I could be part of some kind of study. No idea what that means, but hey, that’s cool!
I was pretty fussy on the way home. I think I’ve got another tooth coming in (at least that explains some of the drool!). I didn’t eat much and went to bed a bit early.
