Sunday morning was going as usual, until Mom and Dad piacked me up in our car and headed to school — or at least so it seemed. We took exactly the same route and ended up in Oak Brook, jut a few blocks away from my school. We were meeting with two of Mom’s & Dad’s friends, Chris and Steve, at Cheesecake Factory. We sat outside and I got to nibble on everyone’s meals.
When we got back home, Dad had to work quite a bit, so I ended up getting to spend extra quality time with Mom. I’ve got a bit of a runny nose, but that’s not going to slow me down. We also continued our recent tradition of having a fish dinner on Sunday nights; I got to “cooook ish”!
Monday morning I got up with Mom and Nana was here with me bright and early. I had a cold but I was in a great mood. I ate a scrambled egg and waffle along with a glass of milk and a slice of cheese. We played inside and outside and red a bunch of books. I ate my leftover fish and a lot of peas for lunch. I have really come to like the farmer/cowboy that came with the farm set I got for my birthday. Nana even had fun giving him hugs, too!
Rachel came and 5:00 and we had a lot of fun playing together. I was still very congested. I talked to Dad before going to bed.
Man, I was a big baby even a year ago!
