So, the exciting news today was that I spent most of my day standing up (hanging on to the couch) and playing with my toys, which Nana spread out all over the couch. Luckily someone is always around to catch me when I fall over, because sometimes it seems a lot easier to lunge for a toy than go through the hassle of moving my feet to get there. I had an interesting blend of flavors for lunch today: peas and cauliflower…and bananas!
It was a beautiful fall day today and Nana and I took a trip to Wicker Park. I’m so lucky that we’re having such a mild autumn this year!

Dearest Maggie –
I don’t really know where to begin with all of these wonderful pictures. Each time I see a new one, it becomes my new favorite! I have to say, though, that the one with your Halloween shirt on your head really jumped out at me. There is a picture of your mom in the bathtub, when she was a little kid, with her wet hair sticking out in all directions, and that is the first thing I thought of when I saw this photo. Those beautiful, dark eyes of yours (and the eyelashes) definitely belong to your dad. You will be so grateful to him as you grow up! The composition, and especially your happy smile, put me immediately in mind of your mother, though. I’ll make sure you get a copy of that picture.
Sounds like you are having a super time with Nana and Grandpa Yagan. Keep up the good work!
Grandpa Jim and I had such a good time when you visited us. We can’t wait to see you again soon!
Have a fun weekend!
Love –
Grandma
